Greetings

 I’m just a simple country boy who after nearly 30 years of trying to survive in the corporate business world, 10 of those years being a small business owner. My wife (of 21 years) Susan and I decided 5 years ago that enough was enough. We started pursuing a life long dream of living in the mountains.

We now have a place on the banks of Anthony Creek in a small community called Globe, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. It is a most beautiful place we like to call our little slice of heaven on earth. We have a garden where we grow our own organic vegetables and a thriving blueberry patch that often provides a large enough crop to sell at our local farmers market, supplementing our now meager income. 

 We began just a little over a year ago looking into ways of earning an income on-line, after learning that no matter how simple we made our lives, money is a necessary evil. As I have always been a fan, (Due to the teachings of my father and my business background.) of the power of “Positive Mental Attitude.” It is out of this passion that this blog was born. Over the years, I have collected volumes of quotes and stories that I will be sharing here in hopes the some of these thoughts will inspire and motivate someone else as well.
